A grid of images with people from different ages and genders, sharing a common love for regenerative agriculture

The Bay Area is full of people doing extraordinary things.

What if working on the land was one of them?

Doctors, developers, chefs, teachers, project managers. People pour themselves into their craft every day. Blue Marble Acres exists for those who feel the pull toward something grounded. Our Farmer’s Program offers shared infrastructure, organic land, and a community of next-generation land stewards.

Two paths to the land, one shared vision.

Our program opens access to land, mentorship, and shared infrastructure designed to empower the next generation of land stewards, removing pesticides and only using organic practices.

DevelopED and Undeveloped Land

The land we offer

Start growing this season with our undeveloped farmland, designed for small-scale producers, market gardeners, and herbalists ready to put roots down in established, previously cultivated soil. Protected by full deer fencing, you can plant with confidence while benefiting from shared infrastructure and personalized onboarding support to help make your first season a success. With a commitment to 100% organic practices and absolutely no pesticides, this is a place where healthy soil, abundant harvests, and sustainable farming can thrive together.

For visionary growers ready to create something lasting, we are offering larger plots with the freedom to build from the ground up. With up to two acres available, they are perfectly suited for food forests, perennial systems, and innovative agricultural projects that thrive over time. The land will be thoughtfully prepared, with soil disced and amended to meet your specific needs, while support is available for establishing irrigation infrastructure. Water rights and equipment arrangements are tailored individually, giving you the flexibility to shape a growing space that reflects your vision and long-term goals.

Prepared to do the work

Farmer’s Program Expectations and Responsibilities

Our program is designed to support independent farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs by providing access to land, infrastructure, and a collaborative farming community. Successful applicants should be prepared to take primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, and day-to-day management of their farming operation.

While Blue Marble Acres may provide access to shared infrastructure, water, storage, and other agreed-upon resources, participants are expected to supply or arrange for the equipment, labor, and operational support necessary to establish and maintain their production systems.

Unless otherwise specified in a written agreement, Blue Marble Acres does not provide routine field preparation or cultivation services, including discing, bed preparation, BCS operations, planting, cultivation, harvesting, or ongoing farm labor.

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • A clear production plan and farming goals

  • The operational capacity to manage their enterprise

  • Access to necessary labor, equipment, and technical resources

  • A realistic understanding of production costs and market

We intended to foster independent, economically viable farm enterprises. Applicants should view Blue Marble Acres as a land and infrastructure partners rather than as the primary operator of their farming activities.
