Your hands, and the land. One shared purpose.
At Blue Marble Acres, we’re cultivating more than crops - we’re cultivating connection. This is your invitation to join a living landscape where regenerative agriculture, community, and innovation meet. Whether you’re a beginning farmer, herbalist, chef, or enthusiastic dreamer, there’s fertile ground here for your vision to take root.
Our Team
George Gund
CAPTAIN | A Modern ExplorerFrom the city streets of San Francisco to the rugged cattle ranches of Nevada, George has always been a man on the move. He’s spent seasons hauling salmon in Alaska and harvesting fruit across California, Brazil, and Costa Rica. Now, he’s distilling those lifetimes of adventure into Blue Marble Acres. His mission is simple: shortening the distance between the farm and your plate, and giving city dwellers a literal breath of fresh air—no hiking boots required.
Adrian Fontaine
Land Foreman | AN Architect of the LandIf it needs to be built, powered, or grown sustainably, Adrian is the man with the plan. As our lead for land operations, he’s the mastermind behind everything from our off-grid solar arrays to the regenerative field patterns that keep our soil happy. When he’s not designing the future of the farm, you’ll likely find him deep in nature with his family and his 172-pound Great Pyrenees, Dalton—or perhaps panning for gold as an avid miner.
Executive Director | A Visionary of the LandMatt Champoux
Matt Champoux is a Stanford-trained ecologist and Executive Director of Blue Marble Acres. From the rugged coast of Marin to conservation projects across Latin America and Asia, he brings over 15 years of experience stewarding landscapes and the communities connected to them. His work integrates regenerative agriculture, ecological restoration, and conservation strategy to help shape the future of farming. Whether guiding a team or walking the land at first light, Matt is driven by a long-term commitment to stewardship. Outside of his work, you’ll find him birding, tending rare plants, or exploring West Marin with his family.
Edgar Cox
Agricultural Manager | A Connoisseur of the OutdoorsOriginally from Miami, Edgar traded the Florida coast for California to pursue a career in psychology—only to discover a deep-seated passion for the art of winemaking. Before turning his talents to the farm, he spent eight years mastering wine production across the vineyards of California and New Zealand. When he’s not tending to the land, Edgar is a true multi-sport adventurer; you’ll usually find him fishing, surfing, or climbing his way through his next big outdoor memory.
Rodolfo Landin
Construction | Master of the FieldOriginally from Jalisco, Mexico, Rodolfo has spent the last 20 years building a career defined by one core principle: lead by serving. He’s a firm believer that the best results come from a happy, collaborative team, and he’s dedicated to bringing out the best in everyone he works with. When he isn’t coaching his team to success, you’ll likely find him exploring new corners of the globe. For Rodolfo, there’s nothing better than traveling the world and creating lifelong memories with his wife and two children.
Valeria Mclean
Operations | Conductor of the FarmGrowing up on a farm in Eastern Europe, Valeria learned the value of the land early on—in a village where families bartered produce for everything they needed. Today, she combines those deep roots with a Master’s in Civil Engineering and a degree in Finance to keep our operations running like a well-oiled machine. As our lead for all things financial, legal, and insurance, she brings a high level of structure and heart to the business. When she isn’t balancing the books, Valeria trades the farm for the ballroom, where she enjoys playing the piano and practicing her favorite dance moves.
Susana Mejía
experience Design | AN Alchemist of SpaceHailing from Costa Rica, Susana is an artist who believes that nature also belongs inside the spaces we inhabit, not just outside the window. While her journey began in graphic design, she quickly traded the digital world for the tactile magic of wood, iron, and cement. Specializing in "utilitarian" pieces, Susana transforms everyday objects like tables and chandeliers into functional masterpieces. Her work is a vibrant bridge between organic patterns and modern living, designed to bring a sense of playfulness to any space, indoors or outdoors.
Daniel Cruz
UX/UI Design | A Curator of ConnectionAlso from beautiful, tropical Costa Rica, with over 15 years in design, Daniel is the master of balancing big creative visions with the practical solutions that actually make things work. He knows that brands are built on trust, not just good looks. When he’s not refining a digital customer’s journey, he finds his balance through long-distance running, meditation, and quiet moments of nature contemplation. For him, building a loyal community is a lot like a trail run: it’s all about staying present, finding the right flow, and enjoying the journey.
